At last, it’s here. A textile bank that
ticks all the right boxes. With a 4000 and 5000 litre version
our new bank is capable of holding over 400kg of material.
Manufactured in galvanised steel treated with a special zinc-adhesive
paint, our ergonomically designed banks are revolutionary
in design and construction.
The existing and dated banks you see in use all have heavy
chutes that can trap user’s hands and even head. They
are also big enough to allow the bank’s contents to
be pilfered. Our bank has a simplier and safer chute construction
which eliminates these problems.
Old style bank take about half an hour to be emptied by hand
into a sack and then put onto the lorry. The new bank can
be emptied in 4 minutes with the innovative opening base and
crane hook and release system. The contents are emptied through
hinged base flaps that open through 90 degrees. This means
that a single operator can collect more material quicker,
and using less fuel.
Using this revolutionary system will enable a 30% increase
in material throughput, which in turn offers local authorites
and charities the potential of amlost tripling their recycling
revenue stream.
